Observing another levels Part 1

I got a chance to observe any levels on Aroonpradit School (glad that this school consisted of every level from kindergarten to senior high school). yet it's because all of the teachers here are so friendly (Thank God). I'll give you all of advice from them cause it will be so helpful for those who want to be a good teacher!!!
Teacher Vincent A. Adole on Mattayom 3 (Junior High School)

*make student involved with your lesson.
*don't forget about little thing such as singular and plural
*combine speaking class with some writing exercise
*come to your student one by one to make them feeling involved with the lesson hence to check their understanding.
*focus on pronunciation and vocab
*ask them to answer all of the questions with a full sentence

Teacher Vincent A. Adole at Prathom (Elementary School)
*start with sing (to add some vocabulary) it can be part of body, animals, fruits, or others.
*make sure they quite first.
*review previous lesson
*start to make simple conversation.
*give the student minus point if they have bad behavior (just in case to make them obey the rule)

AP fun method

It's nice to get my first class observation with Mrs. Melogine Venida (we called her Teacher Gine). She taught me that we have to make the students quite first before deliver our materials.

Gadget will always be the problem on teaching nowadays. and by collecting the gadget during the lesson it will help your students keep focus on your teaching.

The duration of each class and each subject is 50 minutes. Devides onto
5 minutes : Greetings and Checking attendance list.
5 minutes : Review previous lesson
5 minutes : Introduction of new material
20 minutes : Lesson proper
10 minutes : Exercise
5 minutes : Summary and task (homework)

Teacher Gine said we have to focus on pronunciation and intonation! I'm so impressed to her teaching methods which are using games to deliver the material, and yahh.. students interest on learning. and I can say that she use student centered because all of the student get involved to her lesson. refer to the picture below.

Aroonpradit School, everything's here!

Such as gift for me to get this school as my teaching practicum school. Lovely teachers, lovely students, has all of the levels from kindergarten to senior high school (and I got the opportunity to observe all of those levels) yeayy...

This school is located on Khlong Krachaeng, Mueang Phetchaburi, Phetchaburi (Thailand). This is Christian private school. In the morning there is ceremony and all of the student will gather at the main (front) field to have a pray, singing Thai anthem, Aroonpradit song and get some advice.

When I came to this school, they're filtering to every English books to be selected as teaching materials (oh my God they are selecting seriously from so many authors).

We have daily task (to be daily score) Mid term exam and Final term exam. The curriculum for English is "The Basic Education Core Curriculum BE 2551 (A.D 2008)". They broke it down on weekly teaching plans for a term.

See you later

Arrived at Donmueang Airport, Bangkok, Thailand.

 Finally....
I arrived at Thailand at 17:25 (GMT +7) longer than scheduled time (16:30). we took some pictures together because it will be our "last" time together since we have to go to our own receiving university. me myself will go to Phetchaburi Rajabhat University at Petchaburi with my dearest vice of dean Mr. Palemai Mangga Labulan and his wife Mrs. Wirda Yasin, and the rest of them heading to VRU and SSRU at Bangkok. and after the third day I will be the single fighter at PBRU because Mr. Labulan will be back to Indonesia..huhu T.T (just try to be dramatic LOL)

Ohh I almost forgot this one,
After you arrived at your destination country, your simcard will not work properly except you already pay for roaming package (but you know it's cost expensive to a student haha).
so, make sure the one who wants to pick you prepare some sign to help you to recognize him (because you can't contact him)

<<< See the picture

Mr. Pong (my Buddy from PBRU) prepared that for me, OMG he is so kind (thankyou hehe)

but you don't have to be worried, all of the airports (that I've ever visit) supported free WiFi in case you can use internet access to call the one who will pick you up. (buy a new simcard will help you to save you cost during at the destination country) /end/

Time to.....

Time to go..................................................................!!

Today is the day, January 21th. It's my first time to be stay for a long time abroad and I'm really excited of it LOL..

It's a connecting flight, I need to go to Denpasar, Bali for transit about  3 hours till my flight to Thailand.

I have some advice for you if you never go abroad before.
- Make sure your passport valid at least 6 months after come back schedule or you can't even pass the immigration service at the Airport.
- Prepare some cash (at the currency of your target country), but make sure not to bring too much to avoid bad thing. Don't worry because it's easier now to get some cash by using ATM everywhere.
- Prepare some foods to help you feel comfort because it'll take a long time yet the food at Airport will so much more expensive than you ever expected. (useful for low budgeting traveler LOL)

3 hours are not too long for transit time. and it's time to get into my second flight to directly go to Thailand. It takes 4 hours flight to go there. I will be arrived at the airports around 16:30 (GMT +7). haha I went from my home at 02:00 (GMT +8) and it spent more than 15 hours (just only arrived at airport) yet it still exciting to do that. LOL
Ok then, will see you on the next post.......................huooooo~~
